Please read instructions for registration carefully. Registrations that are now received AFTER November 1, 2025 but before December 31, 2025 will be submitted to Belgium in the second round of registrations.

Please use this form to register your 2025 Foals. Before you begin you will need to fill out a Declaration of Birth, Breeding Certificate and a Markings Sheet  for upload. All three can be found at the bottom of this page. Foals MUST be microchipped before online registration. If the dam is not already in the BWP Mare Book you will also need copies of the dam's registration papers, pedigree and markings page from her papers or passport. For mares that do not have a markings page in their papers, you will need to submit a markings page. For all requirements for registration without inspection please visit the Foal Registration page.

BWP foals born in 2025 need to be named starting with a "C", and BRp foals born in 2025 need to be named starting with a "G".

Instructions for the Markings Sheet are as follows:

Please have a veterinarian complete the markings page. Use RED ink for white markings, pink markings should be filled in with RED. Whorls, scars brands and other markings should be noted in BLACK. Please note all whorls on the face, poll region, along the under side of the neck or throat and each side of the crest with an X. Microchip placement should be noted with a “C”. Microchips are required by Belgium in order to release passports.

Please note, mares not already in the Mare Book will also need to register for inclusion into the Mare Book, $200. Sire's not approved for BWP will incur an outside sire fee of $75.00. Breeders are also required to renew or sign-up for membership if you haven't done so for 2025. Payment selections will be prompted at the end of the form. Once registration is submitted and paid, breeder can send in a hair sample in a ziplock bag to BWP/NAD labeled in an envelope with horse's registered name.
