M Bandelero JSF

Bandelero JSF embodies the modern sport-horse ideal. He offers exceptional length of leg, an elegant head, and a balanced topline and conformation - a combination that gives him a classical, athletic presence ideal for sport disciplines. He demonstrates excellent self carriage and open shoulder, with good push from behind . Over fences, he reliably displays a natural talent with exceptional form and balance. Temperament wise, Bandelero JSF is known for being gentle, people-friendly, and easy to handle.

As a young horse, Bandelero had multiple successes in hand, including several BYH and year end awards. Additionally, he placed Top 3 at Young Horse Show Finals both years he competed with mutliple scores of 8’s and 9’s. In 2015, during his 70 day stallion test at just 3 1/2 years old, he earned standout marks for: 8.5 for Character, 8 for Jumping and Temperament, 8.63 for Free Jumping, and 8.5 for Rideability.

Bandelero’s initial foal crops yielded 100% First Premium/Elite foals including multiple site champions for BWP, GOV, and Westfalen. Judges across major registries consistently noted recurring traits such as well-shaped neck, strong hindquarters, excellent canter and beautiful heads. His oldest offspring are now making their mark in the show ring, including year end zone winners in the Young Hunters. Bandelero is also making his mark in the eventing discipline, having produced HM Belterra, the 2024 Young Event Horse Reserve Champion 4 year old and 2025 Young Event Horse Leading US Bred and Winner of the US Event Horse Futurity as a 5 year old.

Bandelero has been know to be a ‘fixer’ stallion - bringing refinement, improved canter, stronger hindquarters, and consistent movement, in addition to exceptional jumping technique.
